Millions of dollars are being disputed in the case between Apple Inc. and Eminem’s publishing company, Eight Mile Style LLC. The publishers are saying a permission wasn’t given to Aftermath Records to allow Apple to sell the rapper’s songs through Itunes. Apple’s lawyers are claiming contracts say nothing of profits only being made through compact discs. So it’s up to the judge on the case to decide if contracts, between the publishing and record companies, state whether or not Eminem’s songs can be digitally downloaded through the company. The trial started today. We will keep you posted.
